Busy parents can take advantage of our child care from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. and from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on school days, and from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on pre-determined non-school days. Whether you use the program on a regular basis to accommodate a work schedule, as needed when your child has sports or drama practice, or for the brand new study hall option, we are happy to have your family join us.

The before and after school care program is managed by Mrs. Penny Wright, our Early Childhood Education director. During morning hours, all students are together in the ECE area. After school, older students go to the cafeteria, playground and/or study hall and younger students play outside and in the ECE.

Study Hall
We’re excited to offer a study hall for grades 3-8 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Students will work upstairs in the 8th grade classroom, and a teacher will be present to answer homework questions. Study hall is a part of Child Care and the same fees apply.

Fees and registration
After you’ve registered your child for Child Care, he or she may come on an as-needed basis before and after school.

On non-school days, you must sign your child up in advance. If the cafeteria is closed on a non-school day, you will need to send a lunch, drink, and utensils with your child.

Cost is $2 per half hour from 6:30-8 a.m. and from 3:30-6 p.m. A flat fee of $35 applies to non-school days, which cover the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Late charges begin at 6:10 p.m. and are $10 per 10 minutes and every part of 10 minutes thereafter.

Child Care seeking donations
If you have games and/or toys in excellent condition, we’d love to have them to interchange with our selections. A wide and varied range of activities makes for a pleasant stay! Please call Mrs. Wright at 523-9298 if you would like to bring a donation in.
